A couple of weeks ago I visited the Glenfiddich Distillery when my wife and I took a road trip North.
I took a photo of the still house where they house the unusual copper stills.
They have two different shapes of still which I seem to remember wasn’t purely for historial purposes.
It doesn’t affect the taste of the whisky itself.
At the very back on the left, you can just make out a new still that had been fitted.
It’s a much duller colour than all the rest and is what natural copper looks like.
A Souvenir From The Glenfiddich Distillery
As part of the Explorers Tour, you get the chance to taste:
Unfortunately I didn’t get to taste any of them whilst I was there because I was driving.
I could only smell them and savour what I might be missing.
Thankfully I was given a small bottle of 12 Year Old Whisky to take home.
I’ve not opened it yet.
Perhaps tonight I will partake in a little tipple.
What’s Your Favourite Tipple?
