Honey I Shrunk The Kids! #MySundayPhoto

I was inspired this week to join in with the #MySundayPhoto feature I’ve seen on some of the blogs I regularly visit.

I don’t take as many photos as I used to when the kids were younger.

I thought it’d be an opportunity to get the camera out more and to hone my skills even a little.

Since we moved house last summer, I don’t remember seeing our digital camera.

So I’m relying on my mobile phone at the moment to capture all my images.

Spending Time At Vogrie Country Park

#MySundayPhoto this week is of my kids when we recently visited Vogrie Country Park.

The kids always find the giant chairs there intriguing whenever we visit.

They enjoy exploring the woodland paths around the park and so do my wife and I.

It’s a great place for a picnic when the weather’s nice, although it can get a little crowded.

There’s an adventure playground to keep the kids busy too.

And if you want to treat yourself, there’s always the Tree Top Café in Vogrie House.

I have a tendency to indulge in a caramel square!

Other Things You Can Do At Vogrie

Although it’s not my thing, you can also play a round of golf at the Country Park.

You won’t see any of #MySundayPhotos featuring me in any kind of garish golf clothes.

There’s always the miniature railway to tempt me with a quick ride around the park.

And of course that would be worthy of a photo no doubt.

The ranger service also organises events throughout the year.

I like the sound of the bat walk at Vogrie as I don’t see them around much where we live.

Whether or not I’d be able to do them justice with a #MySundayPhoto appearance, I’m not sure.

What a fun photo of the kids. Those oversized chairs are great! #mysundayphoto

    • Thanks Cassie. We had a great time in the sunshine. Shame it started to rain towards the end of our visit and we ran to the car. No caramel square for me that day!

  • A brilliant fun photo, it sounds like a great day out.

    Thank you for linking up

    • Thanks Darren. So long as the weather behaves, it’s well worth a visit.
