I don’t often take photos during a run but I stopped to capture this one because it was almost like there was fire in the sky.
The sun was just setting over Edinburgh and reflecting it’s fiery redness over the sea.
You can see Arthur’s Seat on the left and then the rest of the city starting to come alive in the night with its street lights.
I had in my head the saying, “Red sky at night, shepherd’s delight. Red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning.”
It’s a pity the tide was out.
I wonder how the reflection in the Firth of Forth would have been improved even more if it was in at the time.
